Bastard of Allegory is an expanded Hörspiel by Sticky Drama in collaboration with Audiorama.

“All the thoughts and experience of the world have etched and moulded there,
in that which they have of power to refine,
and make expressive the outward form,
the animalism of Greece,
the lust of Rome,
the reverie of the middle age with its spiritual ambition and imaginative loves,
the return of the Pagan world,
the sins of the Borgias.”*

What does it mean to look in a time of post-visuality, where what is visible is offset from the human eye? Is it possible to understand visuality along other grids than the humanly visible? Through an allegorical and humoristic story about the use of neural networks and machine learning, Sticky Drama speculates on the technological nature of contemporary visuality, and its impact on the image as a distributor of gazes and their socio-cultural reflections.
